Hello and welcome to another monthly ditty. Our friend Kristina has now been here for two weeks and has travelled around the country a wee bit. Erika and Kristina went down to Christchurch for a few days to have a look around and catch up with Erika’s cousin. Well things are not all good …. I am extremely jealous … I was brought up in Otago and always wanted to go on the Arthur’s Pass train …. Yeap you guessed it Erika and Kristina went on that very trip and they laid it on pretty thick with yours truly :) Apparently it was a fantastic trip, the scenery on the first part was truly stunning, it then got a bit bland on the second part and Greymouth was quite a quaint small kiwi town. So Erika beat me too it a? J Well they saw a part of what NZ is truly all about the great scenery and green image, jealous yeap still a wee bit a? :)

Changing the subject a tad, the festive season is nearly upon us, plans are being put in place and we’ve already got a wonderful invitation to a friends 60^th in the New Year. Firstly though gotta cope with the next 25 days when our shop and centre is open for 7 days a week, aren’t we good to you a? J No seriously its great to catch up with all our regulars and new friends who come into the shop. We have had some changes over the year, what with the burglary and then great new cabinets it has changed the energy and focussed us more. We now have the one of the largest collections of Silver Gemstone Jewellery in NZ and especially as we are now known for the great “Vogel Power Pendants” ….. they not only hold their own as a beautiful piece of gemstone jewellery(in gold and silver) but they are a sacred geometry power pendant and have such wonderful powers in not only the gemstone/crystal but in the special Vogel Cut. They are great to just wear and also magical with their magical help with e.g. our protection, connecting with Christ, the angels and many other things .…. have a look at the website and leaflets are available from the shop. It’s kind of funny how we entered into the journey with the Vogel Power Pendants we were introduced to them many moons ago by a supplier. I felt a neat energy when I held my first one, so we bought three, a Flower of Life (Green Siberian Quartz), and two Star of David’s (one Blue Siberian Quartz and the other a neat Smokey Quartz). We are now going back to the early days of AmethystLake we only had a few pieces of jewellery and sacred geometry in stock. None the less we put them out, within a few days the Flower of Life was bought by a lady who turned out to be a Life Path Coach and Healer, then a week later the Smokey Quartz, Star of David was also gone. I really didn’t think about the last piece because I was organizing a smallish Health and mystic Fair in BrownsBay …. I say smallish well that’s not quite true, it was quite large in the scheme of things … 100 stands … so was a tad busy for a while running around organizing this. It got to the Friday before the fair and I noticed the pendant was still their and to this day I don’t know why … I opened the cabinet and held it. Well that was it on it went …… and as it happened that was in 2002 when the 6 planets aligned in the heavens .….. that was a truly magical weekend for me. The Fair went very well, and my energy was just their all the time, I wasn’t drained and was well protected

too. I have now worn this Siberian Blue Star of David Pendant for 6 years and what an amazing journey it has taken me on. As a Healer I have noticed that my energy and physical field has strengthened and never been compromised in and out of the Therapy Room. It also has made me face up to some of my soul path lessons, the amazing thing is it also supports you in such unexplained ways, so as you can see I am totally encompassed by the pendant and have only had it off for nights (mind you it is alongside me on the bedside cabinet) and two days when I plum forgot to put it on – journey stuff :) We now have the largest stock of these wonderful Vogel Power Pendants in NZ.

The birth of Jesus and this was and still should be a happy time, a time for families and especially children.

Electric Oil Vaporizer

Crystals and Colour Series …. Pt5 

Earth Net 

A strong energy connection to the earth is a definite prerequisite for effective grounding and protective support. A grid of eight black tourmalines in an Earth net can be used to reinforce this support, and can be particularly useful after moving home or travelling. It has been known to help in reducing the effects of jetlag.

One of the effects of tourmaline particularly emphasized in this layout is the ability to help the bones realign themselves. Tensions in bone and muscle are relaxed and physical balance improves.

1. Use a green cloth as a background to lie on, or a white sheet for second choice. If possible arrange it so that your head will be to the north.
2. Put 4 tourmalines pointing inwards in a cross – one above the head, one between the feet and the others at either side, midway down the body.
3. Place the remaining 4 tourmalines just to the right of the others at an angle of about 20 degrees, so all are aligned to the same imaginary point in the centre of the body.
4. Remain in the energy net for five to ten minutes, then when you have removed the crystals spend at least 15 minutes resting before returning to normal activity. 

Obsidian – delving deep

Obsidian is a volcanic glass that solidifies so rapidly from lava that it does not have time to form crystals. Although non-crystalline, obsidian often has very small crystals of other minerals, particularly quartz, feldspar and iron compounds. These micro-crystals do create variations of colour and lustre as light is reflected off them. Snowflake obsidian is clusters of white and grey feldspar crystals, mahogany obsidian has this red-brown colour which is iron minerals. Now when they densely packed they create a rainbow lustre or iridescence.

Obsidian is an effective grounding stone, its most useful attribute is the ability to draw hidden imbalances to the surface and release them. This needs to be done carefully as most hidden things are buried because they are hard to face. There are times when the when outdated patterns need to be broken to release the energy that is being wasted in supporting them. Obsidian is ideal when transformation is needed, bringing fiery energy deep within the earth to purify and cleanse. 

This particular obsidian layout will allow the energies needed for cleansing and transformation to be gently integrated into the subtle bodies. Repeating this procedure regularly will bring about significant changes. You will need five obsidians and a red or black cloth to lie on.

1. Place one obsidian above the top of the head; two level with the neck/shoulder area; and two at the feet.
2. Lie within the net for three to four minutes. Then take as much time as you need before resuming normal activity, and sip a little water to help integration.

Obsidian was one of the traditional materials used for scrying – seeing into the future. Scrying, or crystal gazing, is a worldwide practice that is used to reveal all sorts of information unknown to the conscious mind of the scryer.

Other – black stones

Most black stones have a grounding and solidifying effect on the human energy system. They increase our awareness of immediate reality and physicality.
